If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

     Have you heard the expression when it rains it pours?  That was me in 2003; my husband left me after 22 years of marriage.  What he also left behind was a mountain of debt, a house in foreclosure, a teenage son, and a daughter in college (who returned home pregnant with twins) and on top of that, I was diagnosed with Lupus. I continued to go church and believe that “God was working it out for my good” (an affirmation given to me by my Pastor) which I continued to say for 3 years. 

     Don’t get me wrong, sometimes I doubted, but I knew no one else was going to get me through this but God.  And not in my time, but in God’s perfect time, He did work it out for my good.  I was able to purchase my home (in my name), pay off the bills, buy a new car, support my son through his last two years of high school, become a grandmother, and see my daughter receive her bachelor’s degree from college, and my health could not be better.  And yes, I am still single and enjoying the place that God has me in now. 

     I have to work on me and my relationship with God before another relationship will work.  Hold on my sisters, you can make it.  I praised the Lord before the storm, I really praised the Lord during the storm, and I continue to praise the Lord after the storm.  If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Women Of God, Announcing The Coming Kingdom

     As Women of God, we have been called and chosen to be the Torch Bearers for the 21^st Century.  The Torch is a symbol of Wisdom and knowledge to give light and guidance.  It is the flaming light moving from place to place, calling attention to its mission.  We, as Women of God, are to prepare ourselves to carry the Torch of Grace, Integrity, Faith and Love to our communities, our cities, and to the world. 

     We, the Torch Bearers are always out front, announcing the coming of the Kingdom of our Lord and His Christ.  Let us run our distance in excellence, while other women are waiting on us to arrive at their destination and give light to them so that they too may run.  We have a set time to arrive and pass the Torch to another runner, therefore, Women of God, we must stay the course and run the distance of the Torch which we are carrying.

     Women of God, let us run with patience and endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
